My name is Kathy and I am interested in some information regarding after effects from lung cancer. My father has had half of one lung removed and bits of the other. The last surgery was in Oct.98. He now is losing muscle control in one of his arms. The pain in his back and side is getting worse. As I do not live in the same city as my parents they don't tell me everything. I guess they are trying to deal with this on their own. If anyone can tell me if this is a side effect or if there might be something else happening I would appreciate it.
Any type of info would be helpful. I am very concerned and don't want to be asking them alot of questions that might be upsetting to my father.
