Dearest Gwen - I was so sorry to hear you'll be facing yet another challenge in
a very difficult year for you....my heart goes out to you and be assured you
have my prayers, all the positive energy I can muster and lots of positive
thoughts and vibes going your way. You are a fighter and strong and courageous,
and have much faith. All of these will serve you well and sustain you in the
days ahead. Remember we are always there...and above all that God is holding
you in the palms of his hands at all times. Turn to Him for comfort and solace
and peace. You keep taking care of yourself. Build your body up for
surgery...give it lots of good nutrititious food...not Twinkies and weenies !!
I hadn't heard about the tapes Joicy refers to, but I do know that if I
underwent surgery again I would very specifically ask for soft music and
positive reinforcement words while I was "under".....the mind is a very powerful
thing....ask your doctor to talk very positively during surgery and to tell your
body that it's going to heal nicely....or one of the nurses...You have my
prayers and good thoughts. You take care of yourself. Love. Cori.
