[MOL] "thoughts for today"

Hello Everyone,

Here are my "thoughts for today."

Anyone can be a father, but it takes a special man to be a dad.

The best gift a father can give to his children is a good
	example.

On this eve of Father's Day I would like to direct my attention to all
the special men who have the awesome responsibility of raising children
and providing for them. And providing for them does not just mean
putting food on the table and clothes on their back. It also means
providing a good example for them to follow in life. It means providing
them an environment that will help them to be the best person they can
be. It means providing them with the experiences that teach them that
the easy way in life is not always the best way. It means providing the
opportunities for them to do things for themselves, and not always doing
it for them. It also means providing enough love, hugs, and kisses to
get them through each day. These are just a few many things a father
must provide for his children. So we owe a great debt of gratitude to
our dads, and I'm glad there is this special day set aside to honor them
when we can tell them all the things we should have been telling them
all year long, even if it is just in a card.

BRAVO to all the dads who have done a good job. And BRAVO to all the
dads who struggle with their role of fatherhood and still feel like they
come up short every time. It's not an easy job, so don't be so hard on
yourself. I give you a pat on the back, and compassion from my heart.
Have a blessed Father's Day!
