[MOL] Another Message for Linda and Wendy

Dear Wendy,

Just a suggestion: If your Dad is on Ativan for instance, this

medication tends to cause hallucinations, especially in Senior Citizens.

Another medication he may wish to take in its place for relaxation or

sleep is Halcyon, I believe, which is less symptomatic.

For your MOm: Well, its a tough haul for her and for you and the family.

WE all, survivors and caregivers experience every emotion associated

with this disease. sometimes the best remedy, is for her to address this

emotion and then she will in time overcome denial. Now, she may

experience, anger, and/or fear or some other emotions and that too is

understandable. AGain, its not easy. I guess the most ideal suggestion,

if thats what you call it, is to make certain that there is no

additional undue stress for each and any and there could be many. Sorry

if I am not much further help, but do care and wish there was more I

could say or do for both you and Linda, in time of need.

God Bless,

marty and Barb auslander
