Lillian....forget about statistics - we probably all have could give you
horror stories about doctors callously throwing around statistics which
have borne no relevance in our cancering journey...each patient is
different, and one's immune system is crucial in this disease....coming
from one who was given 3 to 6 mos to live over 2 years ago - !!! I was
told to "go home and wait to die"...so forget about statistics my
friend....there are many options out there - it's just a question of
researching, asking, looking for options, taking charge of one's
cancer.....and you've certainly come to the right place - the MOL forum
includes wonderful patients and caregivers who can offer all kinds of
info and insight into countless alternatives for treating cancer.
