Re: [MOL] A little good news to share

Dear Frank,
I am going to stick my two cents in as well, hope you don't mind. There
are many new drugs on the market for depression. I put off going to my
PCP, until my butt was 1/2" off the ground. He gave me a RX for Prozac
which I promptly filled and never took. When he wrote the Rx he told me
that I had to come see him in 30 days. Well when I went back I handed
him the vile of pills, he was not happy with me. We spoke and he gave me
another Rx for Xanax-generic. My main problem right now is more anxiety
and panic attacks than anything. Well he hit the nail on the head when
he told me that I control these. Don't have to take all the time, can
even take 1/2 of one, gave me .25 dose. So now when I start to feel an
attack I run for one, and when I know that my Father will be around I
take one before he gets here. Yesterday, as well as Wednesday were good
days, no pills. Monday and Tuesday were a different story, but overall I
feel better. No longer clenching fists, letting answering machine take
all calls, not talking to anyone, nor am I hiding under my desk in the
kitchen, (long story). The point of all this is that you need to take
your butt to the doctor and get something. Go to Web MD and look up all
the anti depressants drugs and their side effects. Pick one that meets
your needs in all areas and tell the doctor to give a RX. Well, I hope
that you didn't mind me butting in. If you call today you may feel
better by tonight.
