Re: [MOL] Nisi & Patrick

PJ,
When my son was two years old I was shleping him back and forth to
Florida every week as my mom was there suffering from lung cancer. It
finally became too much for me to take of him and my mother, so I flew
him home. My husband would bring him either to a different family member
or friends home every morning and pick him up early evening. Similar to
a basket of laundry. Not a day went by that I didn't wonder how much he
would hate me. Guess what, at the age of 13 he doesn't even remember!
What he does know is that when his mom-mom was sick and needed his mom,
his mom went and took care of her. Your son will be fine and he will
come through this, and be a better son one day because of the lesson you
are teaching him. Children are resilient. As for the moneys that you
paid to camp, if you want to pull him out be honest. They can fill that
spot in a minute and I am sure they will gladly refund your money, less
a small fee, under the circumstances.
Hang in there.
