Unfortunately, it can happen to anyone, as you can plainly see.  I am so, so sorry.  Now, we need to do what we can to get you through this.  You must be open and honest with your children, without frightening them.  I learned through my experience that although sclc is a particularly aggressive and nasty kind of cancer, it is also extremely responsive to chemo.
