Dear Debby:  I don't think that's an excessive number.  I had a bunch, too.  This is pretty much just to show the technicians where to target the radiation, as you know.  I feel really stupid, but I can't remember when they removed mine.  Probably at the same time they removed my two-pronged port, or grochonge, as they called it.  Kathy

Before I began radiation they put about 8 permanent tattoos on my chest
and back, and then put another by where the lumpectomy was. Has anyone
had theirs removed? Is this an excessive number?
