[MOL] New Suggestion Dosages of Vititamin C

Increase In RDA Of Vitamin C Advocated

WESTPORT, Apr 21 (Reuters Health) - The recommended daily
allowance (RDA) of vitamin C should be 100 to 200 mg/day,
according to a special communication published in the April 21st
issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association.
Because recommendations for vitamin C intake are being revised by
the National Academy of Sciences, Dr. Mark Levin, from the
National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland, and colleagues
there and at the US Department of Agriculture, Beltsville,
Maryland, examined scientific and clinical data published since
1989, when the current RDA of 60 mg/day was set.

In the opinion of many who have studied vitamin C, even 200mg is far
less than should be.

God Bless All
