Hi Elaine,
I had a lumpectomy last July and I am now on tamoxifen. I am also on
synthroid. I don't see that there is any problem with interaction of the
drugs. However, tamoxifen does have possible side effects. Hot flashes are
the first, most noticable side effects. I have also noticed a problem with
weight gain. I don't think I eat any more than I used to and I still lead a
very active life, but I have put on about 20 lbs, so it may be affecting my
metabolism.
