Wendy, I would encourage you to let your Dad be in control of is decisions
as long as possible. Hospice is a wonderful organization, however, they
prepare for death, not life. If your Dad is still trying to prepare for
life, it could really be discouraging to him to have Hospice. We still
haven't called hospice in for my sister, Barb.
Hope is all we have sometimes. Hope and Faith.
