[MOL] About Herceptin Findings

Herceptin Improves Survival In Metastatic Breast Cancer Patients
With HER-2/neu Gene Mutation

PHILADELPHIA, Apr 14 (Reuters Health) - In a presentation at the
90th annual meeting of the American Association for Cancer
Research, Dr. Dennis Slamon presented data showing a survival
benefit linked to trastuzumab (Herceptin) treatment of a subset
of metastatic breast cancer patients. Dr. Slamon, director of
the Revlon/UCLA Women's Cancer Research Program, UCLA School of
Medicine, presented the 2-year data in a plenary presentation on
Tuesday. Last fall, based on 1-year results from a phase III
trial, the Food and Drug Administration approved Herceptin for
treatment of metastatic breast cancer.

I am hoping that Herceptin will be utilized in Ovarian cancer as well
and will have similar successes.

God Bless YOu All
