Just wanted to let you all know that I am still reading all posts, just
haven't had much to say lately. Am still busy with income tax time. Our
filing deadline is April 30th.
Have had several doctor's appointments lately, one with the onc, the
surgeon, my family doctor, the gyn... All is fine except I am still getting
cysts on my ovaries each month. I have another ultrasound in May and then
am seeing a new gyn in June. The last gyn was a total jerk, who upset me
terribly. All he wanted to discuss was a hysterectomy, which I am not keen
on. My family dr. agreed with me and referred me to a new dr.
I stopped taking my tamoxifen last weekend. I had stopped it for the month
of February and felt soooo much better. After discussing it with the onc
and surgeon, they both said "stop taking it". I seem to be in a real
"worry" mode lately and down in the dumps. (Can you empathize, Jeanne?).
I'm hoping that by stopping the tamoxifen, I will feel like my old self
again.
I am having back pain which I am beginning to think could be related to
stress. The dr. did a bone scan in Feb and everything was fine. Will follow
up with my family dr.
The family is all fine and keeping me busy, as is my volunteer work at the
school and work I do for the scouts and Lions Club.
My sister is finally working and just informed me today that she has rented
an apartment for the 1st of June. Hooray! She has been with us for almost a
year. (That certainly adds to the stress. LOL).
We are continuing to paint animals on rocks for the May craft show. The
weather is very Springlike. The grass is greening up and the crocus are
starting to bloom.
I am hoping to be able to contribute more to mol after tax time. Know that
I think and pray for each of you daily.
