[MOL] REPLY To Nanc: US Herbal Remedy Sales Total $3.8 Billion In 1998

Nanc -
See, everyone has a different take on almost any subject. I just
presented the information that shows a significant increase in
interest and use of natural remedies. I made no comment regarding
it. Your opinion is as good as anyone else's. Even if we differ, I
BET you don't kick me between the legs over it.
Love ya back,
Rich (LOL)

       THE BET

There was once a Scotsman and an Englishman who lived next door
to each other. The Scotsman owned a hen and each morning would
look in his garden and pick up one of his hens eggs for breakfast.

One day he looked into his garden and saw that the hen had laid
an egg in the Englishman's garden. He was about to go next door
when he saw the Englishman pick up the egg.

The Scotsman ran up to the Englishman and told him that the egg
belonged to him because he owned the hen. The Englishman disagreed
because the egg was laid on his property.

They argued for a while until finally the Scotsman said, In my
family we normally solve disputes by the following actions:
"I kick you in the balls and time how long it takes you to get
back up, then you kick me in the balls and time how long it
takes for me to get up, whomever gets up quicker wins the egg."

The Englishman agreed to this and so the Scotsman found his
heaviest pair of boots and put them on, he took a few steps back,
then ran toward the Englishman and kicked as hard as he could
right between his legs.

The Englishman fell to the floor clutching himself and howling
in agony for 30 minutes.

Eventually the Englishman stood up and said,
"Now its my turn to kick you."

The Scotsman said, "Keep the damn egg."

Hi Rich and everyone,

I really can't believe that there is anything natural when it comes
to Herbal or anything else now days, all our land is tainted, and
think about all the acid rains that water all these plants. What it
boils down to is that we take our own life in our own hands no matter
what we use, natural or prescription drugs, natural or regularly
grown foods.

You know you can go to a field that claim their plants are
organically grown, and the field next to it is fertilized with all
kinds of chemicals, and both fields are pored upon with acid rain and
the water goes in the soil, both fields wind up with the same soil.
That itself tells me that there is no such thing as naturally grown
anything...

WHO NEEDS PROZAC WHEN YOU'VE GOT ST. JOHN'S WORT?
If I were to take any anti depressants, I would have to go with the
prescription drugs, cause I can't afford the so called natural stuff,
my CO-pay is much less and I really don't trust it. I know to many
loved ones that are really into health type remedies and are by far
more on the sick list then ones that are not into it.

To sum this up. I lesson to my body, I eat what agrees with it and
try to keep a balanced meal, I try to stay away from all remedies,
and as few prescription drugs as possible.

An example of something that just happened to us that had to do with
vitamins. My Health Nut Daughter who I might add is sick all the
time. Told Don to take Iron Pills. Which worked out fine while he
was on Chemo and Radiation. Since about the first of the year he has
had leg cramps that were getting so bad that he couldn't sleep, so he
got a prescription from the Doctor that was to stop the cramps, it
didn't. About a week later, I happened to think that maybe it was
the Iron pills, cause when he had his lab work done everything was
within the normal range. He always took the Iron pill in the
morning, so the next morning I didn't give him one, and guess
what? No leg cramps that night, or any since, now this has been for
two weeks.

I really think that you need to look at your blood levels before you
put any alternatives in your system, herbal, vitamins, or
prescription drugs.

These are just my feelings on all of this, I say to each their own
and I would never push anything on anyone.

Love ya,
Nanc ():-) >>
