RE: [MOL] I'D LIKE TO INTRODUCE MYSELF - Linda

Linda: I read your post and feel for you. I am a cancer survivor so
far...diagnosed 9/97. I have 3 daughters and they all have cried in front
of me briefly, I think Sloan Kettering told them to appear strong. What I
wanted to say is - if they cried all the time, I as a mother wouldn't be
able to discuss certain future plans with them, burial, etc. More
importantly if my kids were falling apart I would have to be to careful with
them. The calmness they seemed to have took about a month after my
diagnosis, so cry now. Please know that this is just my opinion and
everyone's family is different. After about a month my doctor put me on
something to sleep at night so I wasn't quite so melancoly in the day time.
A good nights rest really helps. Later on I took Zoloft for about 5 weeks
and then St. John's Wort for about a month, just until I came to grips with
Acceptance. If you have any questions my email address is
Argila@telephonics.com. Take care of yourself so that you are in good shape
for your father.

Your friend June A.
