Good morning my FRiends,
the following may be a bit professionally worded but in any event it is
another step to hope.
Angiostatin Binds ATP Synthase For Antitumor Effect; Troponin I
Inhibits Angiogenesis
WESTPORT, Mar 17 (Reuters Health) - In two papers in the March
16th issue of Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences,
researchers report that the effects of angiostatin may be
mediated by binding to ATP synthase expressed on the surface of
endothelial cells, and that troponin I is found in cartilage and
is an angiogenesis inhibitor. In the first study, Dr. Salvatore
Pizzo of Duke University and a multicenter team used human
umbilical vein endothelial cells to identify binding proteins for
plasminogen and its proteolytic fragment, angiostatin.
God Bless
