Re: [MOL] Liz

hi, Liz, we tried to grow corn one time and the racoons loved it too. We
go to an organic market garden every Saturday and get a lot of our
vegetables there. I thought Yakima would be quite warm now, frost, eh!
We have an allotment garden to grow our squash. We really love the stuff
and it really keeps well! Our house garden is a bit of a pain, quite a
lot of little pockets of rock and you have to scramble up and down. We
do have perimeter strips but they are shaded by the house which rises 4
stories in the back (its on a rock). I thought when we moved here that
it would be easier to care for but NOT! Still bedrock has some uses as
we never feel the miniearthquakes we get here.

How is business going, we don't see you on line much anymore. Just like
me or is it "I", Liz.

I still have a book called "There is no Zoo in Zoology and other beastly
misprounciations: a guide for the well-spoken" by Charles Harrington
Elster. I have always read a lot but had no idea on how many words were
pronounced and being hard of hearing didn't help.

Some words are so often misprounced that the "mis" becomes the standard.
For instance, how do you pronounce "often" or "flaccid".
