Hi molers,
I have been reading the posts, but, as usual, not posting much. I am so
sorry to hear of Greg's hospitalization and of his being sent home because
of the insurance company's policy. I think we all need to get on the
bandwagon and campaign for reform. These insurance companies are making the
big bucks, but they sure hate to pay out what they are supposed to cover.
I see we have several new people. Let me say welcome to you and that you
will benefit greatly by being here. I am very grateful to the people on
this forum for the support they gave me while I was coming to terms with
the fact that I had cancer. I had a lumpectomy last July and as far as I
know I am cancer free. I go in in May for my next complete mammogram.
The news that you or your loved ones have cancer is one of the most
overwhelming diagnosis you will ever receive, but through this group you
can come to see that life is still worthing living, and living is what you
should be doing. Fight the disease and keep faith that you will overcome.
BTW, I just got my yahoo instant messenger. my identity is eapat. If you
would like me to put you on my "friends" list, please let me know your
identity. Nanc, I think maybe you have instant messenger.
I hope you are all enjoying the emerging spring. Here in Yakima the spring
flowers are in bloom, daffidols, tulips, magnolia, violets, oregon grape,
flowering quince, etc. are all providing brillant colors to the landscape.
Soon the dogwoods will bloom and of course here in the northwest we have
rhododendrens in all colors. Some are already in bloom. Others bloom later.
I have put in a vegetable garden which I hope will produce well. I love
spring. It is truly a time of rebirth and it does wonders for my attitude.
Love and good wishes to all
Liz Patterson
