My name is Tim and my finacee', Pam, was recently diagnosed with a rare
Krukenberg Tumour and has been through two operations in amonth. It is
actually a form of stomach cancer and is very resilient against any type of
treatment. She is going for that same combination treatment of
Taxol/Carboplatin with a central port. If this stuff works for her, there
should be hope for everyone that they(standard medicine) actually have
something that might work.
Susan, thank you for the info. on your husbands' side effects - my Pam is
nervous and scared about her first treatment. I wish you and your husband
well and I can certainly feel your pain. The toll it has taken on me is
awful because I always feel I have to be strong postive and not afraid - how
have you handled your own emotions with your husband?
