Hi,
Pat: This is a hard one to call. I went through chemo and it worked
wonders for me, but I have small cell lung cancer. The chemo was very
unpleasant and made me very sick, but it did work. However, if the doctor
says this type of chemo doesn't work well for your son-in-law's kind of cancer,
I think I'd listen to that doctor. If his mother is listening to another
doctor who recommends a more aggressive treatment, that's different. To
me, the more aggressive, the better. Cancer is a beast and we need to put
up a good fight! I'm glad I did, and if it should return, I'll do it
again. Kathy Corrigan in Boise, Idaho

I have enjoyed reading your notes of love
and encouragement to each other. My son-in-law was diag in Dec. and
would appreciate any info on this cancer. He is still deciding on
treatment. Last doctor sug. less aggressive since this does not
respond to chemo for any length of time. Steve;s mother wants him to
try a six week antioxoidants and vitamins. What do you think.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Pat in Akron,
