Don't know if Taxol is same as Taxoltier; my father takes Taxoltier w/
Carboplatin and has been on them since August of last summer. At first, he
had some bad reactions and they were going to use Gemzar, but then stayed
with the first ones because they are working. SEVERAL tumors have
disappeared altogether and the large primary tumor has shrunk to nearly
nothing (so I'm told). My father has had a hard time with these drugs, but
then he is 75 years old... I would have alot of trouble with them too and
I'm 47.
