Hi Everybody,
Yesterday I went shopping at a thrift store. Even though many of the
items were overpriced, I did buy some items that were in very good shape
and priced pretty low. There was a day when only the very poor and
destitude would consider shopping in a store like that, but with the way
things are today, it is looked upon as acceptable as well as wise. With
that in mind here are my "thoughts for today."
In the "good old days" the man who saved a lot of money
was a miser. Now he's a wonder.
Wisdom enables one to be thrifty without being stingy,
and generous without being wasteful.
Perhaps if we spent our money a little more wisely, not only would we
have more for ourselves, but we might even have a little extra to share
with someone who doesn't even have enough. Then everyone makes out
good, and isn't that the best way?
God Bless,
Jo
