Dear Laurie - great hearing from you and thanks for the info you provide. I
shopped at Life for almost a year, and then found the Natural Marketplace closer
to home - walking distance in fact !! (Sandy, the current owner of NM used to
manage Life Groc)...I could not agree with you more regarding nutrition - many
people are non-believers, but I personally do feel the saying "you are what you
eat" holds very true. the body needs all that good healthy stuff to rebuild
after the onslaught of cancer and/or the cancer meds.
I find my juicing invaluable. Pop is sure lucky to have you folks as
caregivers. I know it won't be easy for any of you but with faith to keep you
strong and a positive spirit, all things can be accomplished The cancering
journey is a difficult one for all those involved - patients and caregivers, but
you sound like you have a wonderful spirit and attitude...if I can help in any
way please do not hesitate to ask.
I will take you up on that visit up to the lake site - I have no doubt it's a
little piece of heaven. It's such a pretty area - plus I do look forward to
meeting you one of these days soon. I am looking forward to a couple of weeks
on the beach, treatment notwithstanding - have some great new books, my
snorkeling equipment, suntan oil, a bathing suit and a big old hat all ready to
go !! And my discman with some great CD's...mustn't forget the music for the
soul - Bahamas is a very wonderful place to relax and heal.
I would be interested in the 800 # for the colloidal minerals. I did not care
for the ones I took a few months ago, and have opted instead for a mega
vitamin/mineral supplement instead, but I'm always looking to try new and better
supps.
Well I must run - have to pick up my young'un and take him to buy some flip
flops and a bathing suit - he's off to St Simon's tomorrow. So I'll love you
and leave you. Talk to you soon. Have fun at the site today - say a little
prayer for all of us since no doubt you'll be closer to God in that little
heavenly spot in the woods than I am here in E.Cobb traffic!! Love ya. Cori.
