RE: [MOL] I'm scared - Nita

Hi Nita: I don't have the same type cancer, but I do know how it feels not
to breathe and here are some tips. DON'T try to breath in, that happens
automatically. Concentrate on breathing out. You purse your lips like you
are going to kiss someone but really Purse, then blow out as softly as
possible and for as long as possible. Getting the air out of your body is
the key, and as gently as possible. If you are using an inhaler and it's at
all possible, sit in a chair bend over at the waist and blow out all the air
in your lungs. Put the inhaler in your mouth start to breathe in and then
hit the button. You can purchase a OptiInhaler at a Genovese or any type
drug store. It shoots the contents down your throat so you don't get that
taste in your mouth. I hope this helped. One other thing you have to train
yourself to stay calm when the shortness of breath starts to happen. Say
this will pass sooooon. Stop what you are doing and relax your self in the
upright position and start the breathing. Have a good weekend.

Your friend June and avoid dairy products, that helped the MOST.
