Dear Gwen - my thoughts and prayers are with Barb at this time. Keep
the faith. I really do believe in the tremendous power of prayer.
When she's able, she might want to read one of Dr. Bernie Siegel's books
- either Love Medicine and Miracles, or Peace Love and Healing - I found
them both so inspirational and they spurred me on to recovery. Love.
Cori.

Hi All,Just
wanted to let you know that Barbara was taken to the hospital Saturday.
She has developed pneumonia and her oxygen level is really low. The
increased her oxygen tank to level 6 which is really high. They are
also giving her antibiotics intravenously The Drs today told her that she
will have to decide about a respirator in case she gets worse. She
is fighting three things now, the cancer, pneumonia, and also the
high oxygen intake can cause some kind of reaction in her blood.
I ask for continued prayers and letters of encouragement for her. My daughter,
myself, and Barb prayed at the hospital tonite, and I just got word that
her oxygen level in her lungs has increased a little bit. It would
be wonderful if she could get off that. Thank you for your prayers
and words of encouragement. I print these off for her and it definitely
is a highlight of her day. This disease is definitely a battle with
the beast.Wellness to
you and yours! Thanks, Nan and Joan for your letter today!Your
friend,Gwen Barb
