Re: [MOL] Tamoxifin

Hi, MDG.

I took it for about 8 months. I didn't have any particular bad reaction.
There is someone on the list who had an allergic reaction--she will tell
you. I have breast mets. I felt improvement right away as far as improved
stamina and decreased shortness of breath. Sometimes I'd get a wierd pain
here and there; nothing to even make me go to the doctor.

One time, there was something. I started getting some leg cramps. My
doctor was away, but when the secretary heard, she chimed in, maybe you have
a blood clot. This didn't sound too good to me, so I got in my car and
headed for the hospital where the covering doctor was for my doctor. He
examined me. Hah! You know what he said? "I don't know why you are having
leg cramps.' He nixed the blood clot idea. and then in a few days or so,
they went away.

But stick around. There are a number of people here with their own
experiences to tell.

Your friend,

Martha
