Cindi:  5FU used singlerly is most often used as a first line defense.  CPt
11 is a more agressive treatment.  Everyone's body reacts differently; so I
would be suprised that you were told you would not loose your hair, better
sometimes to say nothing than disappoint a patient.  I would suggest that
you call NCI @ 1-800-4-CANCER, they will be able to give you all the latest
updates; etc.  We welcome you to our forum, and I believe you will find it
beneficial in your wellness plan to be with such a loving group.
