Hi, Frank:  I remember that sort of thing, too.  My girlfriend could always get her parents' car.  We'd all chip in for gas, and then we'd "drag main" for hours and hours.  Everyone did it!  What a stupid waste of time, but we loved it!!  Then my dad bought a brand new 1957 Ford.  He used to let me take it, but I was forbidden to drag main.  I did it anyway.  LOL  Love, Kathy

I can still remember cruizing downtown in my 56 chevy.Saturday nights we
would have around 30 cars all headed to salmon beach on the pacific ocean to
have a late night beach party.Yes,those were a special time that I feel will
