Tony: I was amazed to hear that your mother's Insurance co. will not cover
DUKE. You may need to telephone the Insurance Co. yourself. There is an
HMO presently just lost a law suite because they did not cover a medical
proceedure and the patient died. You will need to get nice; but forceful
and make sure they know you will go all the way to the top to get the
coverage.
While at Duke ask if they are doing any type of SRS, radiosurgery, pin point
surgery or the like. This has proven to be most successful for many.
