Hello, yes I am somewhat where you are at. My father was told he had non-small
cell lung cancer last October. The cancer has spread all over his body. When
we were told of his illness, the doctors told us he had one year left no
matter what he did. He had tumors on his spine and did do the radiation for
those. We were never convinced by what his doctor told us. This all started
because he had a pain in his back after playing golf. We have since taken him
to Chicago, Block Medical Center in Evanston, Ill. The first thing they told
us is that if they can keep him alive for three years they can do it for
fifteen. Our family is thinking further a head now. If you would like any
