Hi, Ladies: I went through all the allergy shots and the patch tests, etc., a long time ago when I lived in Oregon. I had a beautiful long-haired Siamese at the time named Fenwick. I loved him to pieces! The patch on my arm that was "cat dander" did NOT swell, and I was so thankful, because I wasn't going to get rid of him for anything. So, as it turned out, I'm allergic to house dust, mould, mildew, and a bunch of plants, but not cats or dogs. Like you, Jeanne, my allergies have improved over the years, and I'm not bothered as much as I used to be. Also, Idaho has a much drier climate than Oregon, and that might account for part of the relief. I used to be the vacuum queen myself, but now that I'm older, the darn thing is too heavy for me. Jerry is the Vacuum King! LOL Love, Kathy

Hi Jeanne
I never had allergies until forgive me until "I GOT MARRIED". When I was
living with my parents I always had cats, dogs, parrots, fish and other
cutie's. But when I got married we had a cute cat that belonged to the
landlord and after the cat died for some unknown reason I got the worst
allergy attack ever. My allergy is only to cats. Dogs do not bother me thank
God.
As for the dust mite prevention sheets: before my son was born my sister-in-
law who has so many allergies told me to buy the sheets and pillow cases to
protect the baby when I was going to put him in the crib. Even though I'm
the vacuum queen I wanted to be very careful that no dust mites would get to
him. So far we are lucky here.
They are expensive but I think worth it.
Just as an off note to this. I used my acupuncture treatments for my allergy
attack and they worked great. But last week I visited my cousin who has 5
cats and I could only visit for 1 hour. After 1 hour my eyes blew up and my
throat started to close. She knew I started to sneeze and weeze and I had to
leav really fast. As soon as I got on the parkway I was fine. Even though
these cute cats were put away in the upstairs bedroom I still could sneeze and
sneeze and sneeze like they were under me.
Oh well enough rambling.
How are you feeling Jeanne?
Love
PJ
