Hi Nanc
Like I was saying earlier on the chat with you I had one hell of a day.
Today started out stinky. First had to shower water was cold not hot. Then
I
put conditioner first in my hair not shampoo. It took me forever to wash
that
out and then shampoo. Then I ran out of arm deoderant, hairspray and needed
shaving cream. I then went shopping for lunch and boughts cold cuts and
stuff. Some jerk lady cut me off and almost sent me into another car. Lucky
I didn't. I followed her and caught her and rolled down my window and told
her what she did. I couldn't help it I was looney by this time. Then when I
was unloading the groceries I dropped a huge bottle of lemon juice which
broke
in a million pieces in the driveway. Then do laundry. My in-laws don't have a
dryer. So for the last 3 years I have been drying them outside on the line
in
the summer and downstairs (winter) in the basement on a clotheseline I made.
Well since the flood I didnt' want to take a chance with mildew (even though
I
washed the floor with bleeach all day yesterday to get rid of any mildew).
Still it was erking my mind that the mildew would get in clothes. So I
dragged my blankets and clothes to the laundromat. What an experience that
was. All dryers were taken had to wait 40 minutes. Then I get home and my
son
ran out of painting materials. So we get in the car and go to the store. We
come home I had to cook and make beds and do everything before company comes.
And my son wanted me to paint with him which made a mess of mess's.
The reason why my in-laws don't have a dryer is because they are only 2
people
and they usually bring their clothes to their daughters. But I can't drive to
my sister-inl-laws everyday and do my drying. No way. So the line drying has
been easy. Actually the clothes stay nicer without shrinking or fading alot.
My son's shirts have alot of decals anyway. Besides I had called a plumber
to
put a dryer but he said he would have to do alot of ground breaking and
removing the area that my father-inlaw uses as a mini kitchen. My inlaws
have
a finished basement with a bar and everything. Putting in the huge pipe
outside for the gas and it would be too much money for us to do it. Besides
it ain't my house. Then I called an electrician and he was abserd with the
price. So as it stands no dryer.
So there is my day. Can I borrow the pity pot. LOL.
Please let this day end. Tomorrow is another day.
Love
PJ
