I bought a cookbook called
"Superfoods" by Dolores Riccio.. I like the way it is laid out and
simple to follow... 300 recipes for foods that heal the body and mind... I
can't say that I am anxious to cook all the recipes, but Iike the way that they
list an area and explain all about it, i.e., garlic and then give you recipes
that capitalize on it.. They also explain the types to buy and
storage... As I said.. basic and a quick to understand and
find!
I also have another one downstairs that I
haven't started yet I think by Dean Ornish??, but I am too lazy to go find it
this late at night!! tehe!!
I must keep it simple on reading cookbooks, as
it has in the past been a collectible area for me.. I probably have over 500
starting in the 20's... alot of them are from the 40's and 50's.. you
know, when they planned meals around the primary food groups!
These days, I am filling my mind with good things..... so my
book budget is going that way... I have been working really hard on
breaking the old record that has bogged down my belief in myself...
So I keep filling my mind up with good books that are helping me to break up
that old record and build a whole new CD of feel good!!
Love to see what all you are into my friend... Take good care
and many hugs to you! Carla
