RE: [MOL] Genealogy & Kathy (Kathy question)

Hi Kathy: I wish you luck with your hunt and mine. I only have access to
the computer at work so depending on my workload......Anyway, here is what
else I know. Love June

James Charles Moylan, born 1/27 1917 or 1918 (Catholic). His mother's name:
Anna (Maiden name) Hastings, Father's name Charles Moylan, Brother Edward
Moylan. The whole Moylan family was still in Liverpool England in 1954. I
am positive that he had more brothers but I don't know their names. My
father's last place of employment that I remember in 1954 was NuTopps
restaurant on 34th Street in Manhattan. I don't know what avenue. As I
said earlier he made up Social Security numbers as he went along. He was a
Merchant Seaman when he came to the US and jumped ship. He married my
mother in December 1946. Her name was Mabel Elizabeth Waro (born in
Fairport Harbor, Ohio on 6/19/1919). She was married to her first husband
in 1935 in New York. His last name was Leith (Scottish). I was conceived
in June 1946 so my father jumped ship prior to that time, I am not sure how
much time he was here before they met, but I don't think it was a long time.
Well, I always hope, just to know if he's dead or alive. He could still be
in the US or maybe he went back to England, but I doubt that. Thanks Kath
