I had to have the tear duct drains built, so they have to make a cut below the
eye about 3/4 in. long, then they go into the bone by the nose, also up
through the nostril and cut away bone to make room for a new tear duct, after
they have chipped away enough bone they put a silicone stint in the eye, and
down the nose about an inch to keep it from growing together again. The stint
looks like a thick piece of plastic thread, and you can see the loop in the
corner of the eye, or eyes now. The stints tickle the inside of the nose and
make you sneeze, so that doesn't help stop the bleeding either. I get the
left stint out Tuesday, and the stiches out of the right eye. The stints have
to be in for 6 weeks. I hope this explains the blood, without grossing you
out to bad. I'm trying to catch up on my mail before I go back to bed. I had
385 on Wed. night.
