Tami - My husband and my dad both had small cell lung cancer and both were
life long smokers. I, on the other hand, smoked once in the graveyard in
Raytown Missouri when I was 12 years old and that was enough for me. The
same day I also tried to hitchhike but only got a ride with the milkman
that had delivered my grandmother's milk for 25 years. :-)
My grandmother, in Tiffin, also had a brain tumor but they were able to
operate. This was 40 years ago and she lived to a ripe old age of 90
something. Mary and Angelo have been online for awhile and I've come to
feel very close to them and some of the other people too. It's funny how
all these miles separate us but still we share more of our lives with
"strangers" than family in some cases. Of course, no MOLer is a stranger,
just a manner of speaking. Take care of yourself. Paula
