I couldn't agree with you more about "the worry is worse than the disease".
I was just saying that to someone today. I had my surgery for breast cancer
over 2 years ago, everything has been fine since, yet I still worry and get
stressed out over tests, etc. Looking back, I think of all the time and
energy I wasted on worrying, all for nothing, but still can't seem to find
a way to stop. It is an ongoing, learning process.
My spine has been hurting me for about a month. It could be our couch (the
springs are shot), could be tension, etc. Another dilemna I find myself
faced with is, do I want to keep worrying about it or do I want to really
know if I have cause to worry? I want a third choice. LOL.
