Re: [MOL] Judy's Radiation - Question?

Hi Kathy in Boise: You are not a buttinski..I really appreciate the
information. The first cycle of shots only bothered me a little. This
time has really been rough. I go to the doctor's office every morning
for the shot as my husband is so squeemish he would most likely faint.
I have been most concerned about the pain as I had hip replacement
surgery 3 years ago in the side that is giving me the most trouble. The
hip seems to be OK but the sciatic nerve seems to be effected. At any
rate I found that hot baths and the heating pad seems to help. The
doctor recommended Advil for the pain, that seems to help some but it is
hard to take when one's stomach is prone to upset and heartburn. I like
to walk at least 3 miles a day but this has been difficult to do. I
have 2 more shots to go and that should be the end of it for at least 1
week (thank God for that). Hopefully the discomfort will go away
quickly. I will ask about the cream when I get to the radiation.
Thanks for your imput, it all helps. God Bless

Suzanne
