[MOL] Christine

Hi, Christine, that's some neighbour you have! Yumm! How are you? Your
storm has made across the news and we were wondering how you coping. I know
you had a wood stove and lots of wood and a full pantry I bet.

I talked with Dr Nahmias. The PET scan is free. They will get back to me
when he gets my oncologist's consult. She said she dictated it so should be
soon. Isn't that great! I really would like to find some indication of what
is going on my body. My CA125 is now 16, lowest yet and this is normal (<35
is normal). The rest of the tumor markers, blood assay and chest x-ray are
too. So really hanging in there.

Had a very good Christmas, visiting friends and relatives. Some elderly
relatives found their way here from Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Both are in
their 80's and still doing the rounds of kin. We were going snowshoeing but
the friend we stayed with has developed bad knees and we didn't want to go
off and leave her. We just drove up the montain and found rain was melting
the snow! So just as well. We will go later and stay on the mountain.
Antiqued our way down but did not buy anything but an other ad for a
1920ish Peerless. We will frame it. We have one sitting in our garage,
unrestored. It will be James retirement project.

We now have a no smoking city. Even the poor folks in retirement homes are
not exempt. My mom goes to bingo and said that last week there only 4
people there. Law of averages being what is is, she won 6 times. Mind, two
of her wins were for $1.00 or 53 cents US! LOL. She has a habit of talking
to herself in Cree and one of the women there heard her and asked "Are you
Cree?" As it turned out, the lady was from Cumberland House, Saskatchewan.
Bet you don't know where that is! Mom and this lady have relatives there.
So Mom has a new friend.

Talk to you later, Love, Jeanne
