Suzanne:  Welcome friend and I am glad you are speaking up.  I am also a breast cancer survivor and a uterine cancer survivor.  I had a mastectomy and tamoxifen; but went off the tamoxifen due to  a severe allergic reaction that left alot of pernment damage.  But hey we are alive and certainly belong in the Troopers Assoc. Gallery.....take care, your friend, lillian

Hi, Suzanne:  I had to have the shots, too -- last winter.  My husband gave them to me in the hip.  I think he got some sort of perverted pleasure out of this, but he gives almost painless shots.  I had leg and hip pain after the shots, too -- sometimes fairly severe.  I took warm baths and Darvocet -- once in awhile a glass of wine, and I tried to sleep a lot.  I think I just tried to get through it the best I could.  I had six weeks of radiation, too.  Ask your radiation therapist about the cream.  He/she will either give it to you or tell you where to find it.  Maybe I've helped a little?  I'm such a buttinsky!  Your friend, Kathy in Boise
