Hi Kim and welcome to our wonderful forum.  Thalidamide is a drug that was
out in the late 50's that caused pregnant women to give birth to deformed
babies.  Do you remember the children with no arms or legs or just no arms,
or just no legs, or just one arm;etc.  It was a terrible tragedy that
impacted the world.  It is being remarketed for the use on cancer and is
presently in trials for brain, lung, breast cancer.  It is supposed to be
done under very strict controls; so that we will not of yesterdays sorrows
upon our shoulders again.  I hope this has helped you.  I know you can use
your browser and type in thalidamide and many site addresses will come up on
