Dear Tracy
I've been out of touch with mol for a couple of months and just read a couple
of posts from you. What is your dx? I understand there are some great
ONC's at U of Indiana. A Dr Roff may be the head of Onc dept., not sure,
but if he is let me know.
I also spoke with head of Radiation Onc there last year and they use
Stereostactic Radiology, one of the first. I can't remember his name,
but I've passed it around on forums.
My brother had NSCLC, dx 3/7/97 and was stage 3b. He had radiation
and chemo and was doing great until he went into hospital for drainage
around heart.
He took a lot of supplements and never missed a day of work, drove
himself to hospital and his autospy showed only "microscopic" cancer
cells, so I think he was winning the battle with the cancer.
You can win this battle and remember you are the "customer" as far
as the Dr's are concerned. Get a copy of every test taken, even blood
tests and ask LOTS of questions.
My daughter is also a lawyer in NYC as well as my future son-in-law.
I'm always sending them lawyer jokes. LOL
I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
God Bless
Diana
