understand your state of mind. When it hits you are totally unprepared for
any major illness and unless you have studied medicine you don't know what
to expect or what to do. I'll bet even those who have studied medicine feel
the same way when it hits close to home. I can't answer questions about
your Mom's situation because I don't know, but I can offer moral support
