Sorry ! I didn't check my email for a couple of days. Planning
a trip to India for a short period to see my Mom. She is still
in the hospital, out of ICU though as she underwent a colon surgery
last week. She is feeling a little better but still in pain from
those stitches ! Our only concern now is, her liver.
Is it true that once a person starts taking chemo, his/her immune
system gets worse and hence the person becomes very weak for the
chemo sessions following that one ? Since chemo is heard to be
very painful, what is the way to make the body strong enough to
bear the pain and resist side-effects ?
These questions may sound foolish to some but believe me, the state
of mind I am in, is just wondering around and looking for a way out ...
So pls bear with me and answer my questions if you can.
Thanks,
Apala
