RE: [MOL] ***UCI Proud as a Peacock of its New Radiation Therapy

Nanc:
I hope you and Don are hanging in there. I am praying for you. I too was
looking into what Dr Gil Lederman has to offer for my Dad's inoperable
tumor. I emailed Staten Island University Hospital last week and received
this response within 24 hrs. I see no reason why you cannot mail Don's
records and medical history to them at the address indicated in my email.
This seems to be their protocol. Forget about calling them, I was on hold
for 20 minutes - when I finally did get a live body on the other end, it was
only to take my name and number and have someone call me back. I never
heard from a soul but I am sending out my Dad's information today. Hope
this helps! Cathy.
Dear Ms. Telesco,

Your e-mail of July 22nd has been received. If you wish, you can:

1. Call our toll-free number (1-800-285-4584) and speak with one of our
radiosurgery coordinators. They will take some information, send you a
package of articles including a videotape and have one of our physicians
call to answer any questions you might have.

2. Send copies of your father's latest films, pathology reports, brief
clinical history to:
     Dr. Gil Lederman
     Radiation Oncology Dept.
     Staten Island University Hospital
     475 Seaview Avenue
     Staten Island, NY 10305

Your father's case will be discussed at our weekly radiosurgery conference
(which includes multispecialists) and we will contact you with what we
believe would be the best treatment options. There is no charge for this
service.

Sincerely,
Pat Greaney
  (for Dr. Gil Lederman)
