I don't know what email system or what kind of computer you are using, but
I am using Eudora on a Mac. I think it works the same way on a PC with
Eudora.
First hit reply and a copy of the original letter will appear and the send
button is in the upper right corner ( if you are using Eudora). Start at
the top of the letter section and write your reply. Hilight the rest of the
original letter that you don't want to send and hit the delete button on
your computer. The hilighted portion should be gone but the letter you want
to send should be there. Hit send and it should be okay.
