I recently listened to the book on tape of  Bernie Seigel's book, Love,
Medicine and Miracles.  (I may have those last two words out of order).  It
sends a hope filled message about why the patient should get involved in
their treatment.  Seigel is a surgeon who has done remarkable things with
cancer patients.  Maybe your sister would enjoy the tapes or the book?  I
am praying for her.
