My family is from COunty Limerick. When I went to Ireland I was in this
little country pub on a late Saturday afternoon and this group of people cme
in on their way back to a resisdential nursing home ) they were on theri way
home from mass). They came in and everyone started singing great Irish
ballads then this young man who was accompanyhing the group played The United
States' National Anthem. Every Irishmen in the pub knew our Anthem. They all
sang it and stood in our honor. They then played the Irish Natioanl Anthem
and I am sorry to say no one in my party knew it but we stodd and they palyed
it til we learned it. It was a very special moment in my life to see how they
repected our country and how they respected us. They were a great group of
people so much like my family. I learned so much about my father on this
trip. Enjoying talking with you.
