Dear Sherry,
I would like to join Joicy in an enthusiastic welcome!!! Now just pull
up a chair, kick off your shoes and open your soul to be refreshed,
renewed and rejuvinated by your loving family here on mol! You are a
unique and special gift to us all.
About your question, a call to St. Judes' should be able to satisfy you
as to wheather the treatments already begun will interfere with a second
opinion. My guess is that they will not, but may compromise any
alternative treatment recommended. My second opinion at John Hopkins
only confirmed what Memorial Sloan Kettering doctors wanted to do...so at
least I proceeded with 100% confidence in my treatment team.
You and your daughter will be in my prayers. Please keep us posted and
feel free to vent here with us...we have all been down this path and can
& will help! By the way, how old is Katie? I have four girls that
are my life!...Christine 8, Jeannine 18, and Danielle & Marissa 4. God
Bless.
